About the job 

We are looking for a Game Server Support Specialist to assist in maintaining and monitoring our game servers during the nighttime hours for our upcoming MMO RPG Corepunk.

Developing MMO games is very challenging. In our view it is as much rewarding. We want to find someone who shares our passion for challenge and excellence to enjoy this path together.

This is a temporary position with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support Corepunk game servers during night shifts

• Respond to and resolve any technical issues that arise during server tests

• Communicate with the development and QA teams about any server issues or irregularities

• Perform routine server maintenance and checks

• Document and report any incidents or recurring issues for further analysis

• Assist with basic integration tasks as needed

Requirements

• Basic understanding of server management and technical support

• Strong interest in gaming and game development

• Ability to work independently during night shifts

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy

• Eagerness to learn and grow within a game development environment

• Availability to work during nighttime hours 

• Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English proficiency

Will be a plus

• Experience in game server management or technical support

• Familiarity with MMO games and their server architecture

• Basic scripting or programming knowledge

• Previous experience with QA or integration tasks

Ми у пошуках спеціаліста з нічної підтримки ігрових серверів для моніторингу та підтримки серверів під час нічних тестувань нашої майбутньої MMO RPG Corepunk. 

Це тимчасова робота з перспективою переходу на постійну основу.

Обов’язки:

• Моніторинг та підтримка серверів Corepunk під час нічних змін.

• Реагування та вирішення технічних проблем, що виникають під час тестування серверів.

• Комунікація з командами розробки та тестування щодо будь-яких проблем із серверами.

• Виконання рутинного обслуговування та перевірок серверів.

• Документування та звітування про інциденти чи повторювані проблеми для подальшого аналізу.

• Допомога з базовими завданнями інтеграції за потреби.

Вимоги:

• Базове розуміння управління серверами та технічної підтримки.

• Сильний інтерес до ігор та їх розробки.

• Здатність працювати самостійно під час нічних змін.

• Уважність до деталей і точність у виконанні завдань.

• Бажання навчатися та розвиватися в сфері розробки ігор.

• Готовність працювати вночі.

• Знання англійської мови на рівні вище середнього.

Буде плюсом:

• Досвід управління ігровими серверами або технічної підтримки.

• Знання специфіки MMO ігор та їх серверної архітектури.

• Базові знання скриптування або програмування.

• Попередній досвід у QA або інтеграційних завданнях.
