We are looking for a talented and motivated ssociate to join International Arbitration Practice team in Kyiv.
Key requirements:
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience with a Ukrainian or international law firm
- Degree in law; an LL.M from a foreign school would be an advantage
- Fluent in English and Ukrainian
- Strong analytical and research skills, legal writing proficiency
- Client-focused attitude, ability to effectively multitask
- Intention to build a legal career in the long run
Main responsibilities:
- Advising clients on various projects with focus on International Arbitration
- Acting for the clients in international arbitration (in Ukraine and abroad)
- Drafting and reviewing various legal documents
- Legal research on various topics
- Direct client communication, both local and international
- Participating in due diligence, external negotiations, client meetings, communication with government authorities (including communication during raids and inspections)
- Project management, time tracking and supervision/mentoring of junior lawyers
