Senior lawyer in Energy practice

We are looking for Senior lawyer in Energy practice

Requirements:

· University degree in Law

  Studies (e.g., LLM) in a recognized foreign university/college is a plus, not a must

· 5 years of professional experience at national or international law firms or reputable in-house department of a large company

· Expertise in energy projects, especially in oil and gas sector

· Excellent theoretical knowledge of Corporate, Civil, Commercial law

· Desire to develop and grow professionally in the energy and natural resources sector

· Fluent English and Ukrainian

· Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Teams, OneDrive)

· Strong analytical and organizational, team player, and strong communication skills

· Attentive to details, readiness to work hard

· Drafting conclusions and legal opinions clearly and concisely

Responsibilities:

· Prepare legal comments, memoranda, draft different contracts in Ukrainian and English

· Engage in legal due diligence, prepare legal due diligence reports

· Perform gap analysis, engage in development of Ukrainian legislation to implement EU acquis, prepare draft laws and regulations

· Prepare analysis and legal research on different legal issues, including on oil and gas matters

· Draft proposals and responses to clients' requests

  Coordinate and manage project streams, report to a manager on the progress with client engagements and other tasks

  Participate in client meetings and conference calls, communicate with various stakeholders

  Participate in marketing activities (e.g., prepare presentation, webinars, write articles)
