We are currently seeking a Support/Help Desk Specialist/System Administrator for night shifts and weekends on a remote basis to bolster our dynamic team.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in using WSUS to facilitate Microsoft Patching across the desktop infrastructure.
  • Competence in analyzing, optimizing, and seamlessly integrating applications and services.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS is essential, and familiarity with Linux is a valuable bonus.
  • A confident grasp of network technology principles, including AD, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, STP, VLAN, and group policies.
  • A thorough understanding of computer systems.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English, encompassing speaking, reading, and writing skills.
  • The ability to quickly adapt to and learn new or unfamiliar technologies and products through documentation and online resources.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
  • Proficiency in administering Windows Server versions 2012, 2016, and 2019.
  • Skills in managing Linux systems.
  • Familiarity with MS SQL Server.
  • Competence in managing access rights and File Server service quotas.
  • Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell and Linux's bash.
  • Proficiency in developing cloud-based, multi-tenant applications.
  • Expertise in Linux commands, hardware, software, backup and restore procedures, filesystem maintenance, and user administration.
  • Familiarity with Scrum methodology.
