Location: Ukraine

Type: Full-Time; You’ll be asked to Operate as a Private Entrepreneur.

Hybrid Work (Kyiv), Remote work

Experience: middle-Level

English Level: Intermediate or Above

 

About Us:

Our partner – Loadsure, an international company with operations in the UK and USA, is seeking a Billing Assistant to support the billing department in driving efficiency and maintaining high-quality customer service levels across the company's customer base.

About the Role: 

You will be responsible for processing invoices, ensuring billing accuracy, resolving payment issues, and maintaining financial records while collaborating closely with our Frontline and Finance Teams.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Submit reimbursement requests to insurers
  • Process reimbursements for capacity partners, clients and brokers 
  • Work with clients to develop self-pay arrangements and payment plans
  • Enter charges accurately and expeditiously to ensure proper records handling and fast payment responses
  • Process and follow up on late or missed payments, consulting with the client  as needed
  • Post payments in a timely manner
  • Initiate private pay collections after insurance cancellation, denial or other issue
  • Research and resolve client billing problems or issues
  • Document payment records and issues as they occur
  • Ensure compliance with accounting and financial regulations and policies
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and other stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager 

Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in billing, accounting or a related field 
  • Intermediate Level English or above
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles and practices
  • Experience with billing software such as Quickbooks, SAP or Xero 
  • Proven administrative experience and ability to multitask and prioritise workflows 
  • Strong customer service and communication skills 
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical and numeracy skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Eagerness and willingness to learn 
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-starter and takes initiative
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing technical environment

Desirable

  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM 
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • Background within an Insurance Environment 
  • Enthusiastic about emerging technology and Insurtech
