Operations Department provides key support to the entire country program in procurement, asset management, warehouse management, fleet management and facilities & office management for successful program implementation.
The Ukraine Internship Program supports the development of young talent in Ukraine. Internship will engage in mutually beneficial learning opportunities over an array of workstreams closely aligned with the needs of the country office. Country internships are managed by local Human Resources but mirror the overarching Global Internship Program structure.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
At the completion of this internships, the Administrative Intern for the Operations Team will possess:
- Strong organizational skills for managing office operations and logistics.
- Experience in financial management, including payment processing and expense tracking.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with teams and vendors.
- Enhanced time management and task prioritization abilities.
- Problem-solving skills to address operational challenges efficiently.
- Improved English language skills through daily communication and professional tasks.
DELIVERABLES:
Office and Facilities Support:
- Provide comprehensive support to the Administrative Officer and Operations Manager in ensuring efficient office operations and facility management.
- Oversee daily office tasks, ensuring they are completed promptly, including coordinating logistics for the office and guesthouse.
- Respond promptly to requests related to office and guesthouse needs, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining smooth operations.
- Manage and conduct timely payments related to office and guesthouse operations, including utilities, rent, and maintenance services.
Asset Management and Inventory Control:
- Assist in tracking and managing office assets, ensuring proper documentation and accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate the sorting, categorizing, and storing of assets in the warehouse, ensuring that all items are securely stored and easily accessible.
- Implement and maintain efficient asset management systems, ensuring compliance with organizational protocols.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Internship candidates should demonstrate the following:
- University degree in progress or recently completed (within 2 years) in relevant discipline (Business Administration, Management, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Public Administration, Office Management, Communications, Logistics and Supply Chain Management)
- Experience with Office Administration: Familiarity with office management, payment processing, and asset tracking is a plus.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent Communication Abilities: Fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams and external vendors.
- Proactive and Detail-Oriented: Takes initiative in addressing issues, ensuring all administrative and financial tasks are completed thoroughly.
- Team Player with Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively and handle operational challenges efficiently.
