Front Office associates are responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience. Other duties may include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquires. You’ll be the face of Hyatt as a Front Office Associate. As a Front Office Assistant Manager, your main responsibility is to warmly welcome guests to the hotel and assist them with any queries they have during their stay. You provide guests with an efficient and smooth check in and check out and ensure that all billing is complete and accurate. As a key member of the Front Office team, you always seek to anticipate guests needs to help ensure that their stay is a memorable one.

As a Front Office Assistant Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Front Office Manager.
The Role Key Responsibilities:
- Meets and greets all guests and assists them with registrations.
- Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice.
- Answer questions and offer assistance giving accurate information regarding outlet hours, other hotel services, directions to local attractions or function rooms, car rentals, airline shuttle service, etc.
- Ensures that all company minimum brand standards have been implemented, and that optional brand standards have been implemented where appropriate.
- Prepares welcome cards and keys for arriving guests.
- Works closely with other Front Office personnel in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.
- Verifies arrival and departure details and arranges luggage handling and transportation and other services requested by guests.
- Respond to all internal and external customer requests on a timely basis with accurate responses.
- Ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and internal hotel policies.
- Assisting the team with any support that they require.
- Maintaining positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
- To be aware of Hotel product knowledge, current promotion, policy changes and appropriate internal communication.
Key selection criteria:
- Previous experience working in hotels or similar large establishments.
- Well-groomed, friendly and with a warm personality.
- A good working knowledge of English Language is a MUST.
- Good team development and leadership skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Good administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.
- The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and work as a team player.
- Current knowledge of industry trends and regulations.
- Able to build and maintain strong long-lasting customer relationships and bring new accounts to the hotel.
- Strong communication skills and knowledge of Ukrainian market.
- A critical person with utmost attention to details.
- Pleasant personality and good work attitude.
- Able to provide outstanding customer experience to the guests.
- Ability to communicate proactively with team members and guests.

Qualifications:
- Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
- Fluent in English.
- Minimum with 2 years of working experience as Receptionist or Front Office Team Leader in hotel operations.
- Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Good understanding of selling and presentation techniques. Computer skills in MS Office, email, and Opera PMS will be an asset.
