SkyUp is looking for Team lead of Labor Relations, a leader who will achieve new ambitious goals and horizons together with our multinational team.
In this role you will be:
- Develop and Execute Labour Relations Strategy: Formulate and implement a comprehensive labour relations strategy that aligns with the company's goals across Ukraine and international markets. Ensure the strategy supports compliance, fosters positive employee relations, and adapts to regional legal standards.
- Ensure Compliance in Recordkeeping: Conduct regular checks on employee records and documentation to maintain accuracy and ensure they meet legal and internal policy standards. Oversee documentation for onboarding, contract changes, and offboarding.
- Manage Leave Processes: Supervise the processes for tracking and approving employee absences (vacation, sick leave, etc.), coordinating with HR teams to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant laws.
- Develop and Update Policies: Draft, implement, and periodically review internal labour relations policies and procedures, adapting them as needed to align with both Ukrainian and international regulations.
- Provide Advisory Support: Offer guidance to managers on handling complex HR matters, such as labour law and compliance issues, in various European countries. Support conflict resolution in cases involving employment relations.
- Conduct Audits and Reporting: Perform periodic audits of employee records and documentation to verify compliance with company standards and legal requirements. Prepare reports on compliance and areas needing improvement.
- Monitor Legislative Changes: Keep up-to-date with local and international labour legislation changes and adjust internal practices accordingly. Inform relevant stakeholders about updates that impact HR processes.
- Coordinate with Government Authorities: Act as a point of contact with government agencies on employment matters, managing inquiries and requirements for inspections or audits across company offices.
- Coordinate Military Recordkeeping (Ukraine): Ensure compliance with Ukrainian military conscription laws by coordinating military records and liaising with local authorities through the team.

Lead and Develop the Team: Manage and mentor the labour relations team, fostering a collaborative, compliance-focused work environment. Set performance objectives and provide training to ensure consistent service across markets.
We expect from you: - Bachelor’s or Master’s in HR, Law, or related field.
- 5-7 years in labour relations or HR compliance, with 2+ years in leadership.
- Experience managing HR compliance across multiple countries, ideally in Europe.
- Proven experience working with international government agencies and HR outsourcing providers (will be considered an advantage).
- Experience in an international company.
- Deep knowledge of Ukrainian and European labour laws.
- Proficient in recordkeeping, policy creation, and documentation standards.
- Skilled in developing and implementing international labour relations strategies.
- Experience with HR automation and process improvements.
- Strong analytical skills for compliance audits and reporting.
- Ability to find creative solutions within legal constraints and make sound, well-argued decisions.
- Proven team management skills in a multinational context.
- Excellent advising, consulting, and negotiation skills.
- Effective in handling complex HR issues.
- High accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to handle challenging situations and support decisions confidently.
- B2+ English; other European languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Proficiency in HRIS or compliance tools.
