Your future responsibilities:
— Provide legal counsel on regulatory compliance, licensing, and legislative developments in the gambling industry.
— Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with game providers, operators, and third-party vendors.
— Incorporation and support of legal entities across the globe in the popular gambling-oriented locations.
— Advising the business on a wide range of corporate legal matters across multiple jurisdictions.
— Manage legal risks and identify opportunities for international expansion or restructuring, ensuring that the company remains compliant while pursuing growth.
— Advising on international tax optimization and any other arising tax matters.
— Advise on strategic legal issues, risk management, and business operations in a highly regulated market.
— Support the legal and business needs of foreign entities operating within the gambling ecosystem, ensuring that all international regulatory obligations are met, including local gaming laws, cross-border transactions, and compliance requirements.
— Develop and maintain policies related to anti-money laundering (AML), responsible gaming, data protection, and other relevant legal areas.
— Stay abreast of changes in gambling laws and regulations across different jurisdictions and ensure that the business is always compliant.
— Liaise with external legal teams, regulators, and government bodies both locally and internationally, providing expert legal guidance on international matters.
The following skills are important to us:
— A law degree from a recognized university.
— A minimum of 5 years of legal experience, with at least 2 years specializing in gambling law or related regulatory frameworks.
— Strong understanding of international gambling regulations, including licensing requirements, anti-money laundering (AML), and responsible gambling practices.
— Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts with a deep understanding of legal terms and commercial implications.
— Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex legal issues into clear and actionable advice.
— Proven ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously and work under pressure.
— Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
— Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
— A proactive, strategic, and solution-oriented mindset.
