The International Accountant at Vaimo delivers efficient and proactive accounting support to the Vaimo Group. This role involves various international accounting tasks and provides excellent opportunities for professional growth.
Currently, we are looking for a new team member to join us and work with one of our Swedish entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of accounting tasks (in the sphere of services)
- Process supplier invoices
- Handle invoicing to clients
- Manage local and international payments
- Process employee expenses
- Oversee fixed assets, including purchases, depreciation, disposals, and write-offs
- Perform monthly closing procedures, including the reconciliation of balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Conduct annual closing procedures, including the preparation of annual financial reports.
- Provide financial breakdowns upon request from Group Finance and auditors.
- Undertake other ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Develop an understanding of the local payroll process.
Skills & Requirements:
- 3+ years of accounting experience with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in both written and verbal English at an upper-intermediate level.
- Ability to work independently and reliably, demonstrating initiative, problem-solving skills, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
- Strong sense of teamwork, community, humor, and integrity.

Team, You Would Be Working With:
Overall, the Finance team is almost 30 people, working in different countries in Ukraine, Sweden, Poland, Belgium and South Africa
