Job Description
We seek to employ an enthusiastic and driven intern to assist our legal department with lawyer tasks. The legal Intern’s responsibilities include helping our Legal team to draft, review, and amend contracts, opinions, letters, and other legal documents.
To be successful as a trainee in the legal department, you should be detail-oriented and able to demonstrate excellent administrative and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Working with the supervisor, providing advice to client contacts on legal issues;
- Legal writing and research;
- Assisting with the preparation of Board and committee meeting materials;
- Assisting generally with corporate governance matters, as needed;
- Researching issues related to legal interpretive requests;
- Reviewing and assisting in developing processes for expediting legal procedures
- Conducting research on several areas related to legal issues
Qualifications
- Higher educational establishment graduate
- Required experience in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Eagerness to learn
- Strong work ethic
- Willingness to work independently and collaboratively
- Organized individual, with excellent time management skills
- Motivated to learn, participate, and produce deliverables
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
