Protection Partnership Coordinator

Solidar Suisse is a Swiss NGO active in development cooperation and humanitarian aid in 16 countries worldwide, fighting for global fairness. It has been active in Ukraine since mid-2022. To respond to the humanitarian needs, Solidar Suisse partnered with the Ukrainian organisations Luhansk Association of Organizations of People with Disabilities (LAOPwD) in Kharkivska and Donetska oblasts and Information and Education Center ‘VIS’ in Vinnytsia oblast. The programme is expanding to cover protection activities with a new partner, Right to Protection (R2P).
The Protection Partnership Coordinator will oversee and coordinate Solidar Suisse’s partnerships with R2P and VIS in Ukraine, ensuring the effective implementation of protection activities and capacity-building initiatives outlined in the project framework.
Key tasks
Oversee and monitor the implementation of protection programming, ensuring quality, timeliness and alignment with the project’s protection objectives.
Serve as the primary point of contact between Solidar Suisse and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on objectives and smooth collaboration between partners and key stakeholders.
Ensure the effective realization of trainings for civil society organizations and workshops.
Work closely with Solidar Suisse and partners’ Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) teams to track progress on outputs and outcomes, ensuring the quality of data collection, analysis and reporting on project activities.
Required profile and experience
Master’s degree in social sciences, humanitarian action/development cooperation or related.
3-5 years professional experience in protection programming, MHPSS, or capacity-building initiatives.
Proven experience managing partnerships and working with local organizations.
Good organizational skills, including time management and ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Fluency in Ukrainian and very good knowledge of the English language.
Proficiency in MS office package.
We are looking for a candidate who can possibly start on January 15, with a contract duration until September 15, 2025 with the possibility of an extension.
