The Role
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Manager to join our Kyiv office. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of HR operations at the local level, supporting the Office Managing Partner and playing a key role in implementing HR best practices that drive employee engagement, development, and organizational success.
The HR Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end HR lifecycle for both lawyers and business services colleagues. This includes managing recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, payroll administration, and learning and development initiatives, while ensuring compliance with local labour laws, firm-wide strategies, and policies.

Responsibilities include:
- Recruitment and onboarding
- Learning and development
- Benefits and compensation
- HR policies and support for HR strategy
- Payroll administration and personnel documentation
- HR systems and reporting (both locally and regionally)
- Annual appraisals and employee performance management
- HR budgeting and cost control
- Intra-office secondments and expatriate management
- Employee relations and conflict resolution
- Compliance with local labor laws and firm policies
- Team-building activities, HR events, and student programs
Key skills and experience required:
- University degree in Human Resource Management, Labor and Employment Relations, Business Management, etc.
- English (advanced level), written and spoken.
- 3+ years HR experience in blue-chip organisations in an HR Manager role or similar positions.
- Strong technical knowledge of HR processes and employment practices.
- Proven experience in managing recruitment campaigns, including conducting interviews and participating in selection decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement employee relations policies.
- Extensive knowledge of HR administration, including headcount planning, performance management, and salary review processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret HR data and provide strategic insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
