PHP Developer
We are looking for a Fullstack Developer with PHP and JS to join a leading affiliate company that operates as metasearch websites within the gaming industry. Behind these websites is a sophisticated infrastructure powered by a big data center and advanced analytical systems, allowing us to optimize user experiences and website performance. We are an Agile-driven organization, employing a mixed Scrum methodology with sprints managed in Jira by our Scrum Master and Team Lead. Despite the project's 13-year history, the codebase is modern, with almost no legacy code thanks to continuous refactoring and adoption of new technologies. You will join a mature project featuring a modernized tech stack and minimal legacy code. In addition to maintaining and enhancing existing platforms, you will work on new, innovative projects in the gaming affiliate industry. This role requires a mix of front-end and back-end development skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a global team.
Stack Technology
Basics: OOP, MVC
Backend: PHP (primary language), Node.js, C++
Database: MySQL, MongoDB
Frontend: JavaScript, jQuery, SCSS, CSS, JavaScript Frameworks, React JS
Version Control: GitHub
CI/CD Tools: GitHub Actions, TeamCity
Your responsibilities
- Develop and enhance features for both frontend and backend systems.
- Maintain and improve existing system functionalities.
- Debug and solve problems to ensure smooth operation.
- Work with the global team to build and optimize scalable solutions.
- Contribute to the development of new projects by bringing innovative ideas to the table.
- Share your knowledge to support team development and continuous improvement.
What we expect from you - Essential Skills
Facilities:
- Minimum 3 years of experience with PHP.
- Knowledge of PHP MVC frameworks (eg, Symfony, Laravel, CodeIgniter, Zend).
- Good knowledge of MySQL and OOP.
- Ability to work in a Linux environment.
Interface:
- Minimum 3 years of experience with JavaScript.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, SCSS, JS, and jQuery.
Skills that are a plus:
- Advanced front-end programming skills will be an additional advantage.
Soft Skills
- Ability to deliver high-quality work.
- The ability to understand and adapt to code written by others.
- Adherence to the best coding practices.
Education and language:
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferable.
- Advanced level (B2) or higher of English.
