We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Department at Veramed to take ownership of our content and social media strategies. Veramed is a specialist contract research organisation to the pharmaceutical industry, focused on delivering high quality statistics, programming and data management services for clinical trials.
We have a unique approach to the industry and have grown from 2 to over 450 staff in the last 13 years across the UK, US, Europe and India. This role could be fully remote, hybrid or office based in Kyiv, Ukraine.
The Content Marketing Manager we are seeking needs to be highly motivated and creative. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive content plans to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping our company’s content narrative and ensuring that it resonates with our target audience across various digital platforms.
The ideal candidate for the Content Marketing Manager role will have at least 5 years’ experience ideally working in an international company. You will be proactive, calm, organised, have a great attention to detail and the ability to confidently liaise with people at all levels in the organisation. Your role will work closely with our Senior Digital Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Executive.

Content Marketing Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and own the company’s content strategy and roadmap, aligning with overall marketing and business objectives.
- Lead the creation of compelling and relevant content across different formats, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, infographics, videos, and more.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and align content initiatives with launches, industry trends, and customer needs.
- Conduct thorough content audits and analysis to identify content gaps, optimize existing content, and ensure alignment with SEO best practices.
- Define and implement a content calendar, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality content that supports the marketing funnel and customer journey.
- Monitor and analyze content performance using relevant metrics and KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay informed about content marketing trends and best practices, continuously seeking innovative approaches to engage target audiences.
- Manage and mentor a team of freelancers, marketing exec’s ensuring that all content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and quality standards.
Qualifications and skills needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or relevant field;
- Fluent English and experience of working with international companies
- Proven experience (5 years) in content marketing, with a focus on developing and executing content strategies for digital platforms.
- Strong understanding of content marketing principles, SEO, and the buyer’s journey, with a track record of driving results through content initiatives.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling and impactful content tailored to different audiences and channels.
- Proficiency in content management systems, SEO tools, and analytics to drive content optimization and performance measurement.
- Experience in the Pharma industry would be a bonus
- Experience in managing a team of content creators and freelancers, providing guidance, feedback, and leadership.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with design principles and content creation tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web design principles.
