Python Developer (Remote) – SAS Solutions Experience Preferred

About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Python Developer with at least 3 years of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development, experience working in a remote team environment, and proficiency in English. Experience with SAS solutions is a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
- Work with data processing frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, or PySpark.
- Optimize database performance, working with SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle) databases.
- Integrate and optimize solutions using SAS technologies (advantage).
- Develop containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Implement best practices for code quality, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with remote teams to develop and deploy software solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications.
Technical Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
- Experience with API development (REST, GraphQL) and integration.
- Proficiency in working with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming using asyncio, Celery, or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with big data processing tools like Apache Spark or Kafka (advantage).
- Familiarity with SAS solutions (advantage).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD automation and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency with Git and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of unit testing and integration testing (PyTest, Unittest).
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana).
Soft Skills & Other Requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good communication skills and proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
