 Requirements:

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to support our existing systems by authoring and refining requirements, maintaining data pipelines, and conducting requirements-based testing. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a cross-functional role that involves documentation, testing, and development. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Python, SQL, and Git, with an interest in cloud-based data tools such as AWS Athena and Glue.

• Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL for database querying and manipulation.
• AWS Experience: Knowledge of AWS services, especially Athena and Glue, for cloud data processing and ETL.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and pipeline tools.
• Previous experience with configuration management and validation within software projects.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Requirements Engineering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to author and refine technical requirements for system updates and improvements.
• Testing & Validation: Develop and execute requirements-based unit and integration tests to ensure robust system performance.
• Documentation: Produce and maintain comprehensive design, configuration management, and validation documents for the system.
• Data Pipeline Maintenance: Manage and optimize the data pipeline to ensure efficient and reliable data processing.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve existing systems and processes; actively learn new technologies to support evolving business needs.
