About the job
The ICRC Health Department (Physical Rehabilitation Unit) seeks a competent Physiotherapist to join our team in Kharkiv. This role is responsible for implementing physiotherapy related activities in accordance with the defined strategy. The Physiotherapist will be a full member of the interdisciplinary surgical/medical or rehabilitation team which ensures patient-centered care within an ICRC-run or supported structure as well as in outreach activities during emergency and non-emergency situations.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provide physiotherapy services within an interdisciplinary physical rehabilitation team
- Contribute to implementing ICRC physiotherapy standards and international evidence-based standards in his/her geographic area or field of responsibility
- Promote best practices in coordination with medical/surgical or physical rehabilitation team
- Ensure the continuum of care by referring individuals in need of further rehabilitation
- Participate in organizing Physical Rehabilitation Program related workshops, conferences, or other activities
- Support with interpretation during physical rehabilitation services or outreach activities
- Answer inquiries from patients, service users, community agencies about physiotherapy and physical rehabilitation

About you
To be successful as Physiotherapist in the Health Department (Physical Rehabilitation Unit), you should possess the following qualifications and experiences and have the following characteristics:
- Ukrainian citizenship or permanent residence permit in Ukraine
- A Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent qualification, with a minimum of three years of university study) and a valid license to practice in Ukraine
- An advanced degree or certification in a relevant field (e.g., Public Health, Acute Care, Rehabilitation Techniques) is highly desirable
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of postgraduate experience in physiotherapy, with up-to-date knowledge of current practices and trends in the field
- Previous experience in teaching or training is considered an asset
- Familiarity with or experience in working with international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) or the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement is highly advantageous
- Professional fluency (written and oral) in English and Ukrainian
- Computer literacy
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to teamwork and humanitarian principles
- Flexible, enthusiastic, and willing to learn
- Ability to work independently, as well as effectively under supervision
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work within a diverse team and establish and maintain good working relations in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, and multi-disciplinary environment
