Dispatcher remote night shift
We are a rapidly growing 3PL logistics company based in the USA, seeking to expand our team with experienced professionals who thrive in a collaborative environment. This is not an entry-level position. It requires industry knowledge and an existing customer base to make an immediate impact. All additional details will be provided during the interview process.
Responsibilities:
Negotiate competitive freight rates with both customers and carriers
Manage daily customer service tasks and inquiries
Develop new customer relationships and oversee account management processes
Upsell and retain existing customers
Cultivate strong relationships with owner-operators to enhance service delivery
Negotiate rates effectively
Source reliable carriers
Generate sales leads to grow the business
Monitor load status and ensure timely updates
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of Freight Broker experience
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Proficient computer skills
Familiarity with DAT, other load boards, and pricing technologies
Basic understanding of how seasonal fluctuations and external factors impact freight lanes
