Senior Statistical Programmer (SAS Developer)

We seek a highly skilled Senior Statistical Programmer (SAS Developer) to support and lead statistical programming activities on clinical projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality programming outputs while adhering to relevant standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines. This role also includes optimizing resource deployment and contributing to process improvements within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a support and/or lead statistical programmer on clinical projects.
• Specify, program, and validate CDISC SDTM and ADaM datasets.
• Develop and validate statistical analysis results, including analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures.
• Produce and review CDISC documentation to ensure compliance.
• Create and validate randomization lists.
• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Report deviations, key performance indicators (KPIs), and customer complaints, managing CAPAs.
• Provide supervision and guidance to statistical programmers.
• Train programming team members on procedures and technical standards.
• Identify, implement, and develop new techniques, solutions, tools, and products to enhance efficiency.
• Lead internal initiatives to improve department processes.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external project teams.
• Report issues to the Project Manager/Associate Director in a timely manner.
• Support Quality Assurance in internal audits.
• Conduct other statistical programming tasks as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• BSc/MSc in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in statistical programming.
• Excellent SAS programming skills.
• Knowledge of R programming is a plus.
• Strong understanding of clinical research principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Good command of English communication skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and delegate tasks.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead teams and drive efficiency improvements.
