Land Manager

About Us

We are an agricultural company with large-scale operations in Ukraine. 

With our current land portfolio of 20,000 hectares, we aim for growth and have set the ambitious goal of expanding to 40,000 hectares. 

To strengthen our team we are looking for a dedicated Land Manager who will play a key role in achieving this growth and act as a bridge between our Dutch and Ukrainian offices.

Your Role

As the Land Management Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating all land lease-related activities within our Ukrainian Subsidiary. You will lead local teams, oversee land management, legal matters, and strategic land development, and report directly to senior management. Your role will be critical in efficiently realizing our expansion objectives.

What You'll Do

System

• Oversee the implementation of a modern land management system including CRM for landowners. 
• Make sure all landowners + land lease contracts are properly registered
• Provide KPIs periodically
• Make sure that the land lease administration is audit proof

Contracts

• Make sure all contracts are available and up to date
• Singal expiration of contracts and follow-up
• Keep content of land lease agreements up to date

Contact landowners 

• Actively approach existing, potential, new landowners
• Follow-up of local actions / visits etc. follow-up of contact moments
• Administration and follow-up of land lease positions in Ukraine

Collaboration

• Collaborate and oversee with local teams to ensure compliance with legal and operational standards.
• Act as a communication link between our Dutch and Ukrainian teams.
• Contribute to strategic plans for land management.

Expanding

• Analyze and optimize land acquisition based on data from our software systems.
• Manage and optimize land contracts and property issues 
• Spotting opportunities to acquire more land
• Actively contribute to the expansion of our land portfolio from 20,000 hectares to 40,000 hectares.

What You Bring

• Languages: Fluent in Ukrainian and English (Dutch is a plus).
• Education/Experience:
  1. Experience or a background in agriculture, land and or contract management, or a related field.
  2. Affinity with modern technology and software.
• Skills:
  1. Strong analytical skills.
  2. Excellent communication abilities.
  3. Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
