Job Overview:
As a Supply Chain Manager Assistant your role will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless flow of goods while optimising efficiency and minimising costs.
Requirements:
B2, + level of English proficiency
Strong knowledge of container deliveries and logistics processes (critical requirement)
Responsibilities:
Communicate with suppliers regarding booked transport, booking transport for respective orders, and updating suppliers on specific bookings
Chase suppliers for required payments for container release at the port
Organize dispatch dates and book time slots for collection, delivery, etc.
Communicate with hauliers to find the best offers for haulage from EU to UK
Monitor and ensure correctness of all documents related to dispatch
Prepare necessary documents for customs clearance in the UK and assist with customs clearance responsibilities
Coordinate warehouse communication across the EU and the UK
Arrange haulage locally in the UK and EU
Ensure collection of POD and other required documents
Manage CRM platform and input details on specific duties
Perform miscellaneous logistics operations
