Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of work experience, preferably in humanitarian organizations or government or risk & compliance or legal or audit or grant management or any other relevant field.
- Some experience working with local and national organisations.
- University degree in a relevant field.
- High proficiency in oral and written English and Ukrainian. Knowledge of Russian or Romanian is an added advantage (this role will also work with partners in Moldova, hence why).
Responsibilities
- Work with the Partnerships Unit, Operations Team, Grant Acquisition & Management Unit, Finance Department and other key compliance stakeholders to ensure that donor regulations and requirements; World Vision policies and standards; humanitarian principles, standards and expectations; and legal and statutory requirements are communicated simply and clearly to all partner organisations.
- Support the Partnerships Unit in the development and review of partner agreements, ensuring alignment to donor, WV, humanitarian and legal/statutory requirements.
- Assess risk and compliance knowledge gaps among partners organisations and develop a plan to address them. Ensure coordination with the Partnerships Unit for any capacity sharing activities planned with partner organisations.
- Contribute to strengthening the process to track partner maturity (progress made over time and impact of World Vision’s work with the partner organisations).
- Raise awareness with partner organisations on incident management, especially on reporting (tools to use, and timeliness
- Regularly collaborate with stakeholders within the World Vision, and with partner organisations to identify common themes of risk and action appropriately.
- Undertake analysis of risks, compliance issues and incidents and develop insightful and actionable reports to partners, operations and UCR leadership.
