Background
Ensuring stable and uninterrupted operation of the company's information systems and networks, maintaining them in working order, and ensuring data security.
Description of Duties
- Enforce iMMAP global IT policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, including GDPR and iMMAP standards.
- Manage and maintain the organization’s SharePoint environment, ensuring its accessibility and security.
- Support users in leveraging SharePoint for collaboration and document management.
- Monitor SharePoint performance and implement necessary updates or changes.
- Preparing the onboarding/offboarding of IT equipment for staff.
- Monitor the status of the existing IT equipment and ensure optimal performance.
- Perform regular system maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Provide network access to users in accordance with security policies.
- Implement and monitor information security measures.
- Ensure protection against viruses, spyware and other threats.
- Respond to user requests regarding technical issues.
- Provide advice and technical support.
- Maintain documentation of system settings, security policies, backup procedures, etc.
- Update technical documentation when changes are made to the system configuration.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows, MacOS, Linux), hardware maintenance, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and network protocols.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar are a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
